Job Description:

Collaborate with a team of developers and architects to implement quality software, in a timely manner

Be a go-getter, proactively capture knowledge from Subject Matter Experts, ask right questions, and translate into code.

Unit and system testing of application code, as well as execution of implementation activities

Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Work with other internal teams to complete project activates, such as infrastructure, eCommerce, operations, and database teams.  

Qualifications

8+ years of hands-on experience on Java with focus on SOA / microservices architecture, using Spring Boot.

Back-end Cloud services experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hystrix, SOA and Rest API

Experience building application on CouchBase NoSQL DB

Hands-on experience with JUnit, Sonar, Maven, Tomcat

Good understanding of service-oriented software architecture and design issues.  

Nice to have:

Experience working in cloud environment (AWS, Kubernates is a plus)

Experience with AS400

Experience with eCommerce solutions

Experience with Apache Kafka
