Joel, don't be so cynical. What you said may be true but still you know some nimrod is going to look at your profile and if he or she does not see that you have dozens of endorsements you are not going to get the interview. The fact that the endorsers have no idea what your true abilities are is besides the point.

Why for only $5 I will be glad to endorse any skill you want and I will even ask a coworker to throw in an endorsement. Limited time offer. (This is sarcasm for those of you who do not speak English as a first language or are just dense.)
