Why? Oh, because he's encouraging people to do things you shouldn't do. However, he does say "As an academic exercise just to prove the point,", so he's not really encouraging anybody. Maybe he should emphasize that phrase, and add that there's no real-world reason why you should ever want to do that (and several why you shouldn't).

You really have no right to expect people to remove blog posts merely at your request.
