Ok, just to clarify, and for the nice people:
Our IT consists of 2 oracle programmers (who double as DBAs but odn't really know enough for it), one secretarial assistant and me. I have 150 PCs, 32 laptops, 24 servers, a backup system and the comms equipment to manage. I spend a *lot* of time just trying to stop the place from simply burning down. I never have the chance to dedicated more than 1-2 hours to one single issue. It's August, which means most outside help is on vacation.
So, when I have such a complicated problem, I need to "squeeze" time from other tasks to solve it. Which is why my posts here show up at such long intervals. I've managed to get some people on the phone for help, but I won't have enough outside support before September to fix this.. Received on Tue Aug 24 2010 - 12:27:44 CDT
