Title:- Micro Strategy Developer

Mandatory: US Citizen or GC only.

Location :- Mclean, VA

Duration: 3+ Months

Roles and Responsibilities:

                MHA-Compliance
                Risk and Analytics (IR2, First Look, Second Look
Sampling and Logistics (Loan File Reviews)
                Responsibilities include managing for development,

stage and production of MHA-C Reporting Application. Detailed duties will include the use of Architecture tools - Object Manager, Integrity Manager and Enterprise Manager to setup the metadata layer, security setup and administration, facilitate the management of the application, movement and testing of objects and performance monitoring/capacity planning of the overall system.

Specific responsibilities include:

• Lead MicroStrategy 8.X expert to design and implement reporting application.
• Maintaining optimal performance of the reporting application, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and tuning for multiple members on multiple projects.
• Ownership of all aspects of MicroStrategy Administration functions for projects, servers, user & security administration.
• Managing migration of development, QA and production MicroStrategy projects and objects.
• Providing technical support; troubleshooting report design; monitor system usage and proactive troubleshooting.
• Serving as a technical expert providing input to application design regarding production tuning and administration requirements.
• Develop Dashboards, Reports, assisting report developers, and participation in load testing exercises.
• Interacting effectively with internal stakeholders including Sr. Directors and vendors.
• Setup and Manage training sessions.
• Providing best practices for MicroStrategy Implementations.
• Facilitate report requirements sessions and documentation.
• Provide weekly status report, Issues and risks.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years hands-on Administration experience with MicroStrategy 7i / 8.x including Desktop, Architect, Administrator, and server support.
• Must have worked as Lead or Sr. MicroStrategy Expert Consultant.
• 10+ years experience as MicroStrategy Architect and Reports Developer.
• Hands on experience with performance tuning VLDB, data warehouse database design and modeling.
• Experienced in administration of MicroStrategy Web and Intelligence servers in an UNIX environment. Demonstrated proficiency in Intelligence Server configuration settings, and experience in performance tuning.
• Experienced in multi-tenancy - i.e. supporting multiple business clients and multiple MicroStrategy projects on same underlying architecture.
• Comprehensive knowledge in the MicroStrategy BI tool suite (I-Server, Architect, Desktop, Web, Narrowcast, OLAP and Report Services).
• Comfortable working in a production environment with change management, defect tracking and status reporting processes.
• Strong UNIX and SQL skills; shell scripting preferred.
• Familiar with Software life cycle methodology
• Hands on experience with at least one relational db - UDB, Oracle DB
• Work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
• Financial Services Industry Experience preferred
• Database and Reports Server Performance Tuning
• Assist with database design
