You can hack one of the config files ( some xml file I don't recall details ) and the install will work. You have to add an entry so the installer thinks it is ok.

I did this for the 11g client for windows 2008 server release 32 bit ( think it was that one ) to get a client on my 64 bit windows 7 pro system. It probably will work to get a database running.

Definitely unsupported from vendor!

At some point when 11.2 is release for windows it probably will support windows 7.
