Oracle provides it's own installer / uninstaller ( doesn't use windows add/remove programs stuff ).

You should have somewhere in your group of stuff installed along with oracle a shortcut to the Oracle Universal Installer. That's the same thing you use for an uninstall.

Google around a little if you must for stuff like windows uninstall oracle ... I use oracle on windows little but some people like to follow up an uninstall by cleaning out registry related stuff etc and any directories ... double check that environment setting have had files pulled out of PATH stuff like that. It should probably cleanup stuff like that automatically ... "should" and "probably" being relative.

When you are ready to start again go thru it slowly and maybe even make your own notes about what you did. If you are using DHCP then google around ( or follow the installation instructions from free oracle doc ) on configuring a loopback adaptor.
