Good point regarding the need to maintain a support contract to install patches, and to access Metalink content - it seems that the article I referenced in my previous reply completely missed that small fact when describing the merits of dismissing Oracle support in favor of support offered by that consulting company.
On that point, I leave you with a final quote, "Oracle does not run in
