For me and my site, benchmarking that I have built uses specific queries and logic against our own custom schemas. For maximum useability ... this is recommended but takes a lot of time and effort.

I am not aware of much "generic" that is really useful but could be wrong.

Quest software has benchmark studio ( think it is called ) that doesn't cost a lot ( varies depending on how many concurrent sessions you run ) which supports both some of the industry standard database benchmarks plus also supports custom stuff.

That's not free but well limited trials are available plus how much is your time and energy worth? Probably some other vendors with similar stuff. Received on Sat Jul 26 2008 - 17:46:47 CDT
