Running Oracle 32-bit on Linux AMD64/EM64T (64-bit OS) is also not supported.
This is not just specific to MS Windows, but to x86/x86-64.

It seems to me that people that are running on *nix tend to list their environment in more detail when they post (than those running Oracle on MS Windows) which lead me to believe that the poster was not running on *nix.
