Didn't say it was. Nevertheless, it **can** cause trouble later on. Support, in my experience, look for any possible get-out-of-jail clauses, and unsupervised setting of underscore parameters is one of them. Indeed, I've had support refuse to investigate a problem because of two underscore parameters in use that they'd *told* me to set several months before. I had to dig out the link to that old support thread before they'd relent!

Still, it's nice you acknowledged that "Without deactivating ADR, my statement [that the old parameters work as before] is patently untrue". A bit of a killer proviso added, to be sure, but at least it's been added, and there's no ambiguity about the facts of the case, which is what I was having a go at Daniel's cryptic comments for.
