No, no using excel or any other program. What I use is a program that conects to the database using this driver, i mean msqry32 o odbcte32.
I found a workaround to the problem by converting the numerics to char. Also i read something in the driver documentation refering to there is 2 ways of storing the numerics depending on the lenght.
