Bugger! I'm getting up at 4:30 to shutdown one of the single remaining V7 HP db server so building maint can take the power down. Then I'll be picking up Pythian's Alex G at 9:30 to take him on a tour of the northern beaches, then I've got to drop by the voting place to do the civic duty thingie, then we're eyeing lunch at the Newport Arms hotel while watching the sail boats work their way around Pittwater.

Somewhere in there we'll be talking about Oracle, BAAG, development, db management and support and all those other things dbas talk about when they are *not* working!

We'll probably end the day re-sampling the port wine bottles we got started on yesterday after dinner.
