Yes. By default, Database Control will administer this local database.

Database Control uses its own version of Apache that is "hidden" from normal view.

Starting with Oracle 10g, Enterprise Manager was split into two units...Database Control and Grid Control. Both are fully functional. With Database Control, you can administer one database...the database is was configured for. If you have more than one database, you can run different instances of Database Control. If you want an enterprise solution, you can run Grid Control, which is similar to multiple Database Control apps running on the same web server.
