Come on, Daniel, Oracle on Windows isn't that bad. I don't recognize the problems of the OP. However he is running a desupported version of Oracle on a desupported version of Windows and one can only hope he has applied all his service packs and his daily patches ;)
In that case it'll probably work, provided he says the B word, and donates to the William H Gates Foundation in due time.
