Re: Backup flashback logs to tape

I asked following question to Oracle's metalink support and see their response. There are some holes in falshback logs deign where database will get hung if flashback logs are deleted or become corrupted.

• Correct it wil run fine. It will not crash. it will just mean that you can not flash back.
• there is a restirction however if you reset a GUARNTEED restore point then the DB wo ulf hang. However this is not the case by default however you should know it's a n option. Please look into 'restore points'
