I hope you meant that for the OP, and just clicked on the wrong link for your reply. I'm sure there's lots of stuff I'm sorely in need of information on, but the reference cited (which is exactly the one I double checked before responding to the OP) clearly says " PRIMARY KEY Constraints and Indexes Oracle enforces all PRIMARY KEY constraints using indexes."
