Tools such as the SQL Developer ( free with oracle ) or 3rd party tools such as Toad provide a nice GUI for doing interactive step by step debugging of plsql procedures.

Often however getting a 10046 trace and then putting in through a resource profiler such as orasrp or the hotsos commercial version are all that you need. Received on Mon Jun 25 2007 - 12:43:18 CDT
