I am attempting a test restore on oracle 10g. I have made it all the
way to the restore database command. When I run it this is what i
get:

RMAN-03002: failure of restore command at 06/01/2007 16:18:40 RMAN-06026: some targets not found - aborting restore RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 4 found to restore RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 3 found to restore RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 2 found to restore RMAN-06023: no backup or copy of datafile 1 found to restore
Then when i run the list backup command this is what I get.

The only availible backup is the backup i ran last night. Everyone
before that is expired. What could i have set wrong? Thnaks in
