On windows, Oracle default the init directory to %ORACLE_HOME% \database directory.
You should see files with the init<dbname>.ora in this directory.
I you really are using a file called ini.ora to start all the databases you'll have to post more info, because I don't think it works like that.
You can IFILE from database directory from a file called init<dbname>.ora and then point to a single file, but you start in the database directory and call a dbnamed file. Received on Thu May 17 2007 - 15:35:23 CDT
