apologize about what ... I am using a media server and a master server
in a netbackup 6 / rman / Oracle environment ....
which makes my environment capable of doing remote backups ...
and my problem IS a charset problem on a remote invocation of rman ...
so you come with this Master Dba title crap of yours and start arguing
that rman cannot do remote backup ...
what do loose your time with that if you donnot have the answer about my
problem
simply say I donnot know , I cannot help you etc.
I am not going to blame you nor anyone in the board ...

which is NOT in the topic of this newsgroup ... to go "I love KKK and
pee on niggers" newgroup for that ... they will welcome you and give you
