That does complicate matters a bit. There are a number of highly skilled DBAs in this group that are running on Linux/Unix that would likely be able to immediately identify a solution for that error message. I run Oracle on the Windows platform, so likely would not be much help to you in resolving this particular issue.

It looks like theer are a couple other people having similar issues, might be a problem with the IP address.
