Straight to the point and very helpful. Thanks Michel. It looks like according to Oracle's documentation, the new way we are doing it is more appropriate and may offer improved performance/less fragmentation.

Our company creates loads of indexes for just about all our tables so the temp tablespace is almost never used, but at least we will set it up right for the future.
