Now I understand. It's a little dated of a reference.
Some of us were still hanging out in the IBM mainframe field at that time.

So many of those sites that have gone up in smoke. People being kicked off ? ... you must be joking ... at least that didn't happen to me eh?

I did buy Date's ( fairly recent I think ) "Database in Depth" and it's a good book for any serious DBA. I should read it again probably.
