Is this the correct group for report server questions?
I am getting FRM-41214 when trying to run a report from a form.
This is Oracle 9i on SunOS 5.8.
I am running the report server as user oracle using the command:
rwserver.sh server=repsrv batch=yes
I have tried modifying report.sh (which the above script sources) in order
to make sure that the location of the .rdf file is is on REPORTS_PATH, but
I'm still getting the error. I need some ideas on how to debug this, i.e.
how to find out what is actually going wrong. The only message with the
error is "Unable to run report" which doesn't really tell me what the real
problem is. I know from looking on the web that there is more than one
possible root cause, but what I need is a strategy for tracking down the
problem, which I have not found so far.
