Hi,

Sorry if this has been asked many times in the past but I cannot find any information on this either on oracle website and unfortunately I don't have access to a metalink account

I'm currently in charge of maintaining a C/C++ database layer on top which was written using OCI 7 calls, this database layer uses too LONG and LONG RAW datatypes which were supposed to be removed from 10g server but finally those types are still supported in 10g

This layer is currently working fine with various versions of client dynamic libraries and servers (9.x and 10.x series)

I'm wondering if an end of life or end of support has been announced yet for those versions of OCI 7 ?
any other information on the EOL or EOS for the LONG and LONG RAW datatypes ?

thanks for your help Received on Wed Oct 18 2006 - 06:02:47 CDT
