First you recognize that Oracle is not static. That the product, and its features, change from version to version.

Then you repost your question supplying the information required for someone to give you an answer such as:

  1. Platforms and operating systems
  2. Oracle versions and editions
  3. Quantity of data in question
  4. Available window (amount of time) to refresh

I don't know whether to suggest a DB Link or transportable tablespaces or RMAN or Streams or Data Guard or .... export/import or DataPump, or a flat file, or ....

You get the point. ;-)
