I know it isn't what you're talking about, but it does count. I am inclined to look at an expert who, generally speaking, helps people, with more appreciation then at someone who just engages in the flame wars. In other words, I believe that Sybrand has earned the right to his attitude. If Jonathan Lewis or Tom Kyte expressed the same objections, nobody would object. Sybrand is not exactly either of them, but he can be extremely helpful if you get on his good side.
