I've walked through some oracle's guides (ex. http://www.utexas.edu/its/unix/reference/oracledocs/v92/B10501_01/server.920/a96521/dba.htm#834), and oracle newsgropus archives as well, - and Iv'e learned lesson not to use SYS/SYSTEM to perform just db administration tasks, so I got little bit confused now. Please give more light to the subject

would you please mention exact role/grants that means 'normal' user?

ps:
what is a difference between:

   conn user/pwd as sysdba
and

   conn user/pwd as normal
assuming, user has DBA role granted.
