Are you talking about messages issued by Oracle or by the operating system?

Systems with the same hostname can cohabit on a TCP/IP network. Systems with the same IP address can not (or rather can not properly cohabit -> messages like the one you refered to might be seen in this case). Received on Tue Oct 03 2006 - 06:54:53 CDT
