Me again...

Attempting to restore to a new host.

I am following a walk through to do the restore. Once I get the instance created and perform the restore of the spfile from the backup set and attempt a startup nomount, I get an error.

RMAN-03002: failure of startup command at 10/02/2006 12:47:11 RMAN-04014: startup failed: ORA-02778: Name given for the log directory is invalid
