In order for people to (possibly) supply more detailed information, you MUST supply additional information, such as:

Oracle database server version, edition, major patchset Operating system version, 32 or 64 bit
Processor(s)
Storage hardware configuration, including stripe size db_block_size, tablespace block size for the tablespaces of interest db_file_multiblock_read_count
