dbca not starting

Hi ,
I need help to start dbca on ...
SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server 9 (i586) - Kernel 2.6.5-7.241-bigsmp (0)

when i try to excute dbca it throws following error.... opt/oracle/jre/1.1.8/bin/../bin/i686/native_threads/jre: relocation error: /opt/oracle/jre/1.1.8/bin/../lib/i686/native_threads/libjava.so: symbol __libc_wait, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference

any help..appreciated..
