Thank you. I used oracle installation guide. I have Red Hat EL 4 update 3 installed. In oracle's document, libaio RPM is not required for this RH version. However, in Werner's oracle linux page, this PRM is required! I am going to install the libaio asap and see if it solves the problem. Thanks.
