Wallace, you really need to start reading the documentation. If you continue to ask these types of ultra-basic, well documented questions, you may find yourself killfiled by everyone long before you reach the stage where you have a genuinely difficult, not-so-well documented question.

The usenet groups can be an excellent resource, but they're not 'Introduction to Oracle' online training courses.
