Have you looked at using data pump?

How about transportable tablespaces?

A very quick way to refresh databases ( or tablespaces potentially within a database ) is to use a DASD ( like EMC BCV ) snapshot technology. Each developer could have their own instance with a BCV to refresh it from ( often this takes minutes or less ). Or you could have each with their own tablespace and after refreshing from a snapshot then do a point in time recovery to get the tablespace synched to the point of the cloning of the schema being complete.
