More detailed instructions for the steps are as follows:



1.You can stop the shipping of logs to the standby location from
primary



example:



ALTER SYSTEM SET LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_STATE_2=DEFER;

ALTER SYSTEM SET LOG_ARCHIVE_DEST_2='';


2.Open the standby database in read/write mode after applying all the
received logs.



Alter database activate physical standby database



or



Alter database open resetlogs
