Hello folks,
I am trying to deploy an application containing jsps and servlets packaged into EAR using ant. However when am trying to do so by using the Deploy EAR option in the Enterprise manager, it throws the following error -

"Invalid J2EE application file specified - Jar file: /var/tmp/jar47241.tmp is missing its standard xml descriptor located at META-INF/ejb-jar.xml"

I suspect that something could be wrong with regards to the way the ear file has been created.

Please if someone could pin point the problem and help me understand the the above error message , it will be of great help to me and I d really appreciate this.

Many Thanks,
Ramn. Received on Fri Mar 03 2006 - 02:48:27 CST
