Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> How to tell ARCHIVE LOG make it to the BACKUP SET (RMAN) or not?
Hi Everyone,
I am currently running oracle on solaris 2.9 Oracle is 8.1.7.4 (32 bits)
I have an error during RMAN backup...
Basically this error occur at the end of the backup when try to make
the
archive log to the BACKUP_PIECE..
RMAN-08503: piece
handle=/aux2/oracle/GA2/rman/arch/GA2_al_581695026_42952_1_1
comment=NONE
RMAN-08525: backup set complete, elapsed time: 00:01:06 RMAN-08071: channel ch0: deleting archivelog(s) RMAN-08514: archivelog
RMAN-03006: non-retryable error occurred during execution of command:
backup
RMAN-07004: unhandled exception during command execution on channel ch0
RMAN-10035: exception raised in RPC: ORA-19587: error occurred reading
512 bytes at block number 1
ORA-27041: unable to open file
SVR4 Error: 2: No such file or directory Additional information: 3
RMAN-10031: ORA-19587 occurred during call to
DBMS_BACKUP_RESTORE.DELETEARCHIVEDLOG
Now, my question is I want to LOOK INSIDE one of the RMAN
's backup piece to see whether the ARCHIVE LOGS file make it to the
backup piece or not.
Basically I want to see whether it has problem when making the backup
piece or
RMAN has problem it deleting that file.
I am trying to hunt down the RMAN related data-dictionary, still search.
Thank you in advance.
