Look at what the script does. If you don't use spcreate, you will be unsupported.

Please tell why you had to do a full import, sounds like you mucked something up or should have been doing a recovery, and doing the unsupported thing will probably just make it worse, or at least not wind up with what you want. Are you looking to recover statspack data?
