My test SGA is bigger than my production because the test environment
was tuned but production never go the same tuneup. This was before my
time.
I am not sure what chewed up all the memory. It looks like it ran out
of paging space at a time when nobody was using the machine or
database. I have a few procedures than run in the middle of the
night, but it looks like they ran fine and I have never had a problem
with them.
I am still wating on a response from metalink, they are extremely slow.
And myself the DBA and our sysadmin are beginners.
