I am 100% agree with you.
But you know why I have MTS in teh development environment, because in my work(company AA) want to
have the exact "configuation" in development and production.

And production environment is using MTS, that is why MTS is there.

Though, last night I did TUNE down the number of MTS server in that development host.
The number of swapping in that machine is gone now.
