I see that you are part of an educational institution, and you are heavily biased towards everyone asking the question as "my instructor...".

My original post clearly said that we are using a tool that we don't have control over, besides I was after ideas--not just a neat SQL trick.

May be if some teachers spent more time in the class making sure they connect with their students, and have a one-to-one to ensure they are following the logic, they wouldn't have to obsessively police the internet to control how their students get to the answers.
