I have doubts and bad experiences with IBM's storage hardware and RAC. Not that it can't be installed and run but a pain every other way.
Is this for production or education? $5K seems like a lot to spend for education.
If production talk to your friendly neighborhood NetApp dealer about buying a used F810 or 820 from their inventory. Also check out eBay. There is some very nice 800 series hardware available.
