All

Im looking for a glogin.sql file which will set my columns in a neat, column like, horizontally scrollable form.

I believe this has to do (at least in part) with setting the line size and wrapping correctly, nevertheless I always have to deal with hard to read output of SQLPLUS when selecting more than a few columns. I dont expect 100 columns to be displayed (well ok if it can be done.. <grin>) I would just like a nicer display than I have with as many columns as possible.

Ive looked all around the net and theres tons of information , advising on the subtle nuances of the SET commands, but there is not a *complete* glogin.sql which would give you predictable readability.

Currently, its predictably *un readable*

Hopefully someone has already solved this situation and pass on a solution.

Lastly, I'm only interested in a sql plus solution.. I know Toad , sql navigator can do it, In this case Im using sqlplus only

TIA!
