Dude this is the scoop.

HP has 2 lines of unix servers, most are HP proprietary use the PA RISC chipset. Others are intel itanium based.

If you have a machine that is PA RISC based then you do an oracle install using the oracle PA RISC software.

If you have a machine is is NOT PA RISC ( aka ITANIUM ) then you need to install using oracle ITANIUM.

Do you know what kind of machine you have ( I do ;-) ) ( check out www.hp.com is one way to find out ).
