You do not *have* to replicate indexes. However, if you do then
you can in future issue a index ddl from just the master site and
ddl will be replicated to other masters (i.e. you would use the
replication API to issue ddl ..  dbms_repcat.execute_ddl).
Kind of helps in making sure the index is exactly same in
both master sites.
