Certification: For the extremely limited use of the database as a 9iAS Metadata Repository, 9.0.1 is 'acceptable' (with qualification). For ANY other use, including (especially) as a traditional database, 9.0.1 is NOT acceptable.

If you look at the docco for the 9iAS, you might note that the 9.0.1 infrastructure database is ONLY to be used for the 4 infrastructure areas (iAS metadata repository, OiD & SSO repository, Portal repository and OMS repository). Anything else is actively discouraged (not supported?). And the 9iAS course offers/encourages alternatives for all but iAS Metadata.

It's truly a case of 'do as I say, not as I do'!
