your right .. we could use "on demand Subreports" but then our reports would have to contain subreports that contain subreports.. and that is not possible :(
Crystal can handle 500.000 records. Performance is not fantastic and all the data has to go over the network.. but it is acceptable for my customer.
Did you ever come across a Crystal report that handles about 500.000 records from an Oracle Database? If so .. did it crash the DBMS?? (I don't think so).
