Do it. I'd venture that at least 50% of Oracle DBAs run Windows on their PCs at home. How do you expect them to learn clustering techniques if they don't happen to have a spare couplagrand in their bank accounts with which to purchase a SCSI array or spare second node?

Would I want to run a RAC on Windows in a production environement? Yes, actually: one large law enforcement agency I know of does precisely that. Are they yet running to the hills screaming "Where is Unix"... no.

At least, not yet.
